Devotional life is based on the fundamental instruction given by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad-Gita
“Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me, thus you will come to me without fail, I promise you this because you are My very dear friend”.
A devotee moulds his life so as not to forget Krishna for even a moment. The daily schedule which is observed in all ISKCON temples (with slight variations of timing) is shown here.

Devotees rise, take bath and put on fresh clothing.
4.15 a.m.
Mangal Arati. First ceremony of the day.
4.50 a.m.
Tulsi- Puja
5.15 a.m.
Japa-meditation period. A devotee is required to chant 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna maha mantra (about 2 hours) each day.

7.45 a.m.
Shringar Darshan Arati.
8.00 a.m.
Guru Puja.
9.30 a.m.
Prasadam-simple but substantial main meal of the day consisting of rice, dhal, vegetable and chapaties.
10.00 a.m.
Devotional duties
5.00 p.m.
Devotees shower & prepare for evening temple programme-evening prasadam consisting of filing but lighter meal, milk, fruits.
6.30 p.m.
